Services
The Quality Commission scheme is a public statement about the provider’s confidence in the quality of their services.
The Quality Commission scheme provides a complaints resolution service for students - a free and easily accessible service that respects the rights of students and of the provider.
When a provider joins the Quality Commission scheme they set themselves apart form other providers:
the
brand is the mark of a mature and responsible provider.
Being part of the Quality Commission scheme is like taking insurance - if a provider gets things right they may never need it, but it’s a backstop for providers and their students.
Many providers probably won’t have to do anything new - if they already have excellent services, especially an effective student’s complaints process, they will simply need to sign the new Code of Practice and apply to become a member. By doing this they are indicating their confidence in the quality of the education and the services they provide.
